My First SALE!!!

Just sold my first item! I honestly thought one of the medieval manuscript frames would sell first, but baroque is it, I guess. My buyer is merrypebble - hooray to her! Paid right away.

It's snowing today!

Two days before Easter and it's cold, windy, and snowing. I made this frame not too long ago and it seemed a little out of season, but not anymore!

The Aerie Fairy stunning Drops Magnets

I just really like how round glass objects feel in the hand (marbles, paperweights, these lovely magnets), and the product is visually stunning. Perfect little gift for under $10. Here's my favorite:

views

A SNAFU with view counts on Etsy today - I only lost views on one item. How many did you lose? To top it all, I've had no new views on anything since last night. Gotta go make something to feel better.

Mom's hand embroidery

This is a tribute to my crafty Mom. Who still embroiders by hand these days? She does! Any kind, including her favorite, and arguably most difficult LACE STYLE (aka "Richelieu") and Norwegian Hardanger. Here she is, personalizing my son's Christmas stocking.

joy, playfulness, dexterity

Dexterously the Drummer was right handed,
there are examples in bronze from that mould
in other locations.
The left handedness of this Drummer
speaks to the other side of the brain,
from the past to the future,
another tune in composure.
Broadway!!
A seed of hope after the conviction.
I would subtitle this piece
"I don’t want to set the world on fire."
